Is your company up to code on safety procedures?
According to the OSHA Federal Guidelines, employees are required to be trained to use fire extinguishers and other safety procedures on an annual basis. Additionally, many insurance companies require that employees be trained in fire extinguisher usage.
Our trainers are both OSHA compliant, and follow the strict requirements as dictated by the National Institution of Fire and Safety Training (
NIFAST).
ABCO provides the following training services:
CLASSROOM FIRE TRAINING
This classroom presentation includes a 22-minute video presentation, a verbal presentation from a federally certified instructor, question/answer sessions, full color handouts, and fire training certificates. Class includes up to 50 people, additional charges will apply for over 50 people.
LIVE FIRE TRAINING

This session includes hands on training on extinguisher use by combating a Class B fire. We will also provide: instructional pamphlet, short pre brief, and fire training certificates. All extinguishers used during the training session will need to be recharged and is added to the cost of the program. Class includes up to 50 people, additional charges will apply for over 50 people.
CLASSROOM AND LIVE FIRE TRAINING
This session combines both the classroom and live fire training sessions. The certificates provided for this session signify both classroom and live fire training. Class includes up to 50 people, additional charges will apply for over 50 people.
CONTRACT FIRE TRAINING **** SAVE HUNDREDS*****

This session includes: classroom and live fire training, permits, handouts, certificates, and extinguishers provided for 25 people. Must pay for two years in advance.
TRAIN THE TRAINER
This is an extensive nine hour course that certifies the student as a fire instructor for 3 years. This session includes: lesson plans, classroom and hands on training, evaluations, and lunch. Class size is limited to 8 people.
SPECIALIZED FIRE TRAINING

Training designed to fit your needs such as systems training, combined extinguisher and systems training, modified classroom using nitrogen only fire extinguisher.
About Our Trainers
ABCO's trained and certified staff have a combined 50 years of industry expertise. Our trainers, ranging from ex-military to trained firefighters, are consistently on the leading edge of providing valuable and reliable content for a complete on-site training experience.
Our instructors are trained by a Federally Certified Level III instructor. This train-the-trainer approach has allowed us to adhere to all code and safety guidelines, and allowed us to follow an extra stringent set of guidelines as set forth by the National Institute of Fire and Safety Training.

We will offer train-the-trainer programs to companies with a large number of employees.
ABCO offers several levels of live fire training, and will offer a variety of topics so the training is different from year-to-year.
Our classroom approach includes both workplace and home fire safety, as well as tips and hang-ups as resources provided by the livelifesafe foundation. These color brochures and hang-ups will serve as reminders for fire safety lessons once training is complete.
Each employee and company will be awarded a training certificate.
Once training is complete, ABCO will provide fire extinguisher checks, and will provide booths at safety days with several types of safety equipment including ladders, F/E, CO and smoke detectors, and self defense sprays and other home safety devices.

ABCO adheres and supports all additional safety requirements as set forth by the National Institute of Fire and Safety Training.
NIFAST currently offers educational programming in fire safety and fire technology to the fire suppression industry, the general public, college campuses, home inspectors, and facility managers.
